Renewable Energy Projects
All our REC’s come from existing North American Renewable Energy Projects that have been verified equivalent to the Chicago Climate Exchange criteria.
CFO works with an experienced Wind Development company to ensure the projects selling their CER’s have the best chance to succeed. CFO monitors and audits progress on behalf of our customers to confirm progress is being made and that the projects are financially viable.
For example, data from this wind-monitoring tower has been used to confirm wind resources are sufficient to support a Wind energy project and that it is financially feasible.
Based on this data the developer has proceeded with Connection Impact Assessments with the Local Distribution Company to secure access to the limited grid capacity.
